HOWEVER, Matthew 5:5 is a lesson in humility, not meekness. Those who are humble of heart, and who serve God, shall inherit the earth. That is the correct meaning. And, humility should never be confused with meekness.
To me it means being still and being an active listener.
It means not having to be right, and not trying to force others to believe as I do.
Matthew is absolutely right.
